By personalizing learning for each student, implementing researched based best teaching practices, and being innovative in our classroom instruction, we can ensure that we will meet our goals.

The NCHS-KIPP Achievement Challenge is not primarily a technology project, nor is technology its main focus. This is about enhancing teaching and learning to personalize and differentiate learning for students and best meet their immediate and long term needs. Our project focuses on sound pedagogy and content knowledge for educators and leveraging instructional technology through the use of 21st century strategies, tools, and resources.
High school teachers across Northampton County, at both Northampton County High School and KIPP Pride High, will seamlessly incorporate technology into great teaching. By working together, teachers on both campuses will create high quality, technology-infused lessons that prepare students for the rigor of work they will be expected to master in college and across multiple professions as they work to better their community.
Learning Outcomes After this session, NCHS & KIPP staff will be able to:
Articulate the NCHS-KIPP Achievement Challenge initiative's vision.
Describe the role participants play in planning and implementing digital learning at the high school level and the commitment necessary for success.
Describe the TPACK model and explain how the integration of technology changes the planning process.
Define the 4 C's and explain how infusing all of the 4 C's into our daily lessons will help to set our students up for success in their futures.
